ACCESSING NDIS WITH BEEBOPS ART SCHOOL

​

The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) is an insurance scheme that is aimed at providing long-term support to Australians with a disability, their families and carers. Whether you are self managed or plan managed and depending on your individual plan, funding can be used for art classes.

​As a current registered teacher, many families have enrolled their children or themselves into our art programs with confidence. Having worked with people with Cerebral Palsy, Autism and ABI's, I am particularly skilled in planning individual programs for participants that highlight their individual needs and goals. Working with student who have experienced trauma has shaped a lot of my approaches to how I facilitate and deliver art classes and how positive outcomes can be derived from participants finding a source of self expression.
